Workshop: Sex Offenders in the Community
This workshop will alert participants to the behaviour of sex offenders and the risk factors that accompany working with families where a sex offender is involved. It will provide some safety strategies for minimising the risks for children. - How sex offenders operate

This workshop will involve small and large group discussion, lecture and role play. Participants are also encouraged to share their ideas and experiences. Handouts will be provided and a certificate of attendance will be given to all those completing the workshop. 9.00am - 4.00pm Lunch is generally 12.30pm - 1.30pm $243.00 for professional development $143.00 for community based learning Morning tea and afternoon tea will be provided Lunch is not provided CPS reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to minimum registrations. Refunds will be given to participants of workshops cancelled by CPS. Registrations cancelled by participants after registration will incur an administration fee of $50.00.
