Preventing harm to children through education and awareness

For most children, New Zealand is a wonderful place to grow up in. Some are not so lucky. Childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect are a fact of life (and sometimes death) for too many of our young people.

Workshop: Preparing a Comprehensive Child Protection Policy

No organisation involving children today, can risk not having a child protection policy.

Would your organisation be able to stand up to the public scrutiny if something went wrong?

  • A comprehensive child protection policy provides benefits for all members of your team – from board and trustee level, to front-line workers.
  • An effective child protection policy is the first step for an organisation to protect its children and itself.
